About Me.

Hi, my name is Kelsey Hopkins and I look forward to meeting you!

My passion for photography started early. I elected to take photography class after photography class in high school, and loved that a camera could capture a moment in time. Then life happened and it wasn't until my first son, Griffin, was born that I rediscovered my love for using photos to help me remember the important things in life. When you don't have a great memory it helps to have moments in time captured by camera to help you relive the first walk, first food, first everything.

Since moving in 2020 to Mooresville, NC, from Chicago I've decided to pursue my passion and started Pineapple House Photography. Now instead of coaxing my two sons to let me take their pictures every second of the day, I also help others capture their most important moments in time.

My background working at an advertising agency and Google has provided me a very unique perspective as a photographer. Not only do I have the relationship skills to make people feel comfortable and show their real self, I also have the experience working with brands to tell their authentic story. I have the knowledge to find the angle that gives the right perspective.

I have been happily married to my best friend, Adam, for the last eleven years, and we have two rambunctious, playful, inquisitive and amazing boys, Griffin and Owen.
